8 Days Tanzania Group Joining Adventure

The day starts with collection from the airport or your hotel, breakfast and a briefing on the safari ahead. You then connect with the morning shuttle to Arusha, clearing border formalities at Namanga and arriving in the afternoon or early evening at your hotel.

Collection after breakfast and the drive to Lake Manyara with lunch en route, arriving for an afternoon game drive. The park is known for its tree-climbing lions and its flamingos, with elephant, buffalo and blue monkey in the groundwater forest below the escarpment. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

A game drive on the way out, then the road up to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunch carried with you, arriving in the afternoon. The rim gives you the first view down onto the floor. Dinner and overnight at the camp or lodge.

The descent this morning brings you close in among the caldera’s resident wildlife, with a picnic lunch on the crater floor. The afternoon takes you back up the rim road and on to the Serengeti, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Collection after breakfast for a full day on the plains with picnic lunches. Alongside the big cats you should find spotted hyena and a range of more elusive small predators, from the termite-eating aardwolf to the serval. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

You leave after breakfast for Tarangire, arriving in time for lunch, with an afternoon game drive to follow. Tarangire is heavily vegetated and known for its baobabs and its elephant herds, and for concentration of game it is among the best in the country. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or campsite.

The last game drive of the safari is in Tarangire this morning, followed by the drive to Arusha with lunch along the way. You check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you are collected for the morning shuttle to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon for a drop at your hotel or the airport. If you are going on to Zanzibar we will drop you at the airport to continue.
