4 Days Luxury Samburu and Ol Pejeta safari

Upon arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and begin the scenic journey north towards Samburu National Reserve. The drive takes you through diverse landscapes, from fertile highlands to the semi-arid plains of Northern Kenya. On arrival, check into the lodge, a comfortable lodge overlooking the Ewaso Ng’iro River. After lunch and some rest, afternoon game drive. Samburu is renowned for its unique wildlife, and you’ll have the chance to spot the famous “Samburu Special Five”—Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk. Alongside these rare species, expect sightings of elephants, lions, leopards, and abundant birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge

Morning breakfast, with packed lunch to maximize time in the reserve. The day is dedicated to exploring different habitats, from riverine forests to open savannahs, increasing your chances of encountering diverse wildlife. Samburu is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and predators such as lions and cheetahs. You may also spot crocodiles basking along the Ewaso Ng’iro River and an impressive variety of bird species. Midday, enjoy your picnic lunch in the bush before continuing with the afternoon game drive. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation under the starry clear Samburu skies.

Early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Nanyuki, with views of Mt Kenya at a distance proceed to Ol Pejeta conservancy, arrive time for lunch, afternoon proceed with game drive, you will have a chance to spot the northern black rhino and white rhinos. Visit the rhino sanctuary and the chimpanzee sanctuary, later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwater’s Serena camp.
