Travelling solo?
Group safaris are an easy way to meet fellow travellers and share the experience.
Safari together, pay less
A group joining safari puts you in a shared safari vehicle with other travellers on a fixed route and date, so the cost of the vehicle, driver and fuel is split between everyone.
Most departures visit the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. Prefer your own vehicle? See our Kenya private safaris.
You still get a professional driver-guide, a pop-up roof for game viewing and comfortable lodges or camps. It is the best-value way to see Kenya’s top parks, and it suits solo travellers, couples and friends alike.

Good to know

- Solo travellers: single rooms are available, usually for a small supplement.
- Mixed groups: you travel with other guests, so the pace suits everyone.
What to pack
Pack light for the road.
- Soft bag: soft luggage fits best in safari vehicles.
- Layers: warm clothes for early drives and sun protection for the day.
- Camera and binoculars: for wildlife, landscapes and big skies.
We confirm your vehicle, lodges and group size when you book.
